Dr Manisa Sahu
Dr Manisa Sahu got her MBBS degree from MKCG Medical College and Hospital, Berhampur, Odisha. She did her MD in Microbiology from 2006-2009 from JIPMER (An institution of National Importance), Puducherry and DNB in 2009. Post MD she joined as an Assistant Professor at Hi-Tech Medical College & Hospital, Bhubaneswar for a period of 3 years. After that she worked as a consultant Microbiologist and Head Infection control at Fortis Raheja hospital, Mumbai for 2&1/2 years. She competed one year of comprehensive fellowship in Clinical Microbiology which included diagnostic molecular Microbiology, Microbiology services in clinical consultation and infection control aspects in oncology/ transplant set-up. Post fellowship she worked as a consultant Microbiologist and Head Infection control at Capitol Hospital, Jalandhar, Punjab. She has around 20 publications in various National and International journals to her credit. Her Field of Interest are Clinical Microbiology, Antimicrobial stewardship, Infection control, Quality assurance in hospital and Laboratory services, and Medical education & research in areas of diagnostic and clinical Microbiology.
